OPG / CBCT Imaging
At Willoughby Dental Surgery we are equipped with the latest dental technologies. All the way from Germany, VistaVox from Durr Dental allows Willoughby Dental Surgery in-house dental panoramic (OPG) and 3D imaging (Cone Beam Computed Tomography / CBCT) capabilities.
High quality radiographic imaging allows consultation process to be smooth and efficient.
OPGs are recommended once every two to three years as part of our comprehensive check ups, to ensure that there are no asymptomatic issues undetected. OPGs are also an excellent tool as a ‘big picture’ aid for comprehensive treatment planning.
CBCTs allow next level thoroughness and safety assessment in the planning of Dental Implant Surgery, Root Canal Treatments and Wisdom Teeth Surgery (when OPG is insufficient).
